Remedy For Body Rashes

Remedies for Body Rash

The cause of body rashes might be a disease or an allergic reaction. While some body rashes are contagious, the others are not. Body rash is seen in the form of red, itchy or non-itchy bumps on the skin. There might be stinging or burning sensation over the affected area as well. In the following lines, we have listed some home remedies for curing body rashes.

Remedies

  • Applying olive oil to the rash could provide some relief.
  • Aloe Vera gel, cod liver oil and Vitamin E oil are also helpful in combating body rash.
  • Using baking powder on the affected area is another suggestion to deal with body and back rash.
  • An oatmeal bath is thought to be effective in treating body rash as it relieves inflammation. Pour a cup of uncooked oatmeal into your bathwater and soak in the tub for best results.
  • A poultice made from dandelion, yellow dock root and chaparral helps alleviate skin rash.

An effective home remedy for healing body rash would be to wash the affected area with chamomile tea. Take a cup of boiling water and steep 2-3 tsp fresh or dried chamomile flowers in it. Strain the decoction and cool it down.

  • Olive oil is said to have therapeutic qualities. Apply olive oil to the affected area. It would penetrate the skin and cure the rash.
  • A simple way to treat body rash would be to apply Aloe vera gel or pulp. Apply this on the affected region. This
would be very helpful in treating the body rash.
  • Apply baking soda on the affected body part. After applying it, press the area gently. It would provide relief from the irritation and also cure the rash.

Body Rash Information

Scaly patches of skin produced by fungal or bacterial infection

As infections appear as rashes, the the majority frequent culprits are funguses or bacterial infections.

Fungal infections: Fungal infections are fairly usual but don’t appear almost as often as rashes in the eczema category. Perhaps the most common diagnostic mistake made by both patients and non-dermatology physicians is to call scaly rashes “a fungus.” For example, someone with several scaly spots on the arms, legs, or torso is much more likely to have a form of eczema or dermatitis than actual ringworm (the layman’s term for fungus). Likewise, yeasts are botanically associated to fungi and can cause skin rashes. These tend to affect folds of skin (like the skin under the breasts or the groin). They look fiery red and have pustules around the edges. As is the case with ringworm, many rashes that are no other than eczema or irritation get labeled “yeast infections.”
