Natural Remedies For Itchy Skin Rash

A skin rash is a nasty effect on the skin usually associated with a reaction to particular substance. It generally appears red and can be mild to severe. In worst case scenarios it may even need medicine to bring rash down or even hospitalisation. If you are suffering from a rash the first thing you want to do is work out what is causing it.

Remedies For Itchy Skin Rash:

1. Witch Hazel: Acts as an astringent that relieves an itchy skin rash as well as additional serious skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. Simmer one ounce of the bark with one pint of water and leave for ten minutes. Strain and cool. Apply with a clean cloth and leave it on for 30 minutes.

6. Jewelweed: Provides relief from poison oak, poison ivy rash, insect bites and bee stings. To use, crush the fresh leaves into a ball and rub over the rash as quickly as possible

7. St Johns Wort: Yellow flower native has been used for thousands of years, from the Greeks to Native Americans It is well recognized for its use in treating depression and anxiety, though for the reason that of its astringent properties it can also be used to to moisturize and refresh the skin, particularly an itchy skin rash.
