Tired Eyes can be caused by strain to the eyes by staring at the computer screen for long hours. Excess reading without contact lenses or glasses and continuous reading in dim light can cause strain to the eyes. Find below some home remedies for tired eyes to treat your eyes naturally.
Home Remedies For Tired Eyes
- Use two chilled and soaked chamomile tea bags to be placed on your eyelids
- Place couple of slices of chilled cucumber
- Soak couple of cotton pads in Witch Hazel to be placed on your eyelids. Due to the good starch content, potatoes work greatly to minimize puffiness and redness.
- One of the simplest home remedies for tired eyes would be to place two spoons in the freezer. Take them out when they are cold and place them under the eyes to reduce puffiness. Do not freeze the spoons.
- In a small bowl of cold milk, dip a cotton ball and place it over the eyelids. This would remove all the puffiness.
- In a bowl of water, add a few drops of lavender oil. Soak a cotton ball in this and place it over the eyelids.
