Bleeding Gums Treatment Information
Bleeding gums is called gingivitis and are caused because of various factors. To fix the problem, one really needs to first be aware of the fundamental cause behind it. The primary reason are usually the bacteria coating the teeth, and when one does not brush thoroughly then it changes into a white sticky substance known as plaque. If this is untreated at the right time it affects the gums through the teeth then moving into the bone making a crater that needs to be surgically treated.
Causes
Bleeding gums are mainly due to inadequate plaque removal from the teeth at the gum line. This will lead to a condition called gingivitis, or inflamed gums.

Bleeding Gums Treatment
1. Try to Visit your dentist at least once every 6 months for plaque removal.
2. Brush your teeth gently with a soft-bristle toothbrush after every meal. Avoid using commercial, alcohol-containing mouthwashes, which aggravate the problem.
3. Flossing teeth twice a day can prevent plaque from building up.
4. Avoiding snacking between meals and reducing carbohydrates can also help. Follow a balanced, healthy diet.
